#4

It looks promising, I'd need to see more angles of the car though.

Compared to the old one, it looks like junk. That's why I said what I said. You want me to say I like it just to appease you?

It looks like a Lotus Exige after some crack. It looks derivative and, while it may be aggressive, it isn't sexy like the original at all.

For crying outloud- photoshop..SHEESH...
I'm not thrilled aboiut a nameplate revival, but I think the car looks good. As good as the damn F430 anyway- and everyone just loves that..

Exactly. The Miura was pure sex. You know what this reminds me off?? Remember the original GT40? Now that car was simply beautiful beyond words. This new Miura "interpretation" is akin to the GT90 concept car. Outrageous to the point of overachieving brashness.

1. I know it's a photoshop. I never said it wasn't. SHEESH yourself
2. Reviving the nameplate would be fine if it looked half as good as the original; and I think the F430 looks much more cohesive and elegant than this. It's tacky and tasteless. It borrows a few cues from the original then just goes completely overboard.
3. 700 HP? Come on now. Can't they make something with a somewhat normal power level to try to steal 911/Cayman/Z06/Viper sales? Who the **** needs 700 HP? If I lived in a country with de-restricted roads, ok, MAYBE. But if they could produce a small lightweight car, half of that would be more than sufficient.

I disagree that the F430 is any more cohesive. Pininfarina of late has been in a low curve as of late.

Which is pretty much what I think of the F430- it took some of the basics of the 360 and went wild.

A Lamborghini was NEVER an everyman's sportscar. For over four decades they built SUPERCARS. Why in hell would they start piddling on the end of the amrket they have no experience in- epseically whent hat end is ever so crowded with choices also.

I mean, don't get me wrong, the car has presence. But the design is a bit overwrought and garish...almost to the point of being Lambo-ish in your face.
I preferred the more subdued, feminine lines of the F360. But I'd give my left nut for either one of them.
