    europlates = in europe
American plates = in the states

  5. 11-17-2005 10:50 PM #5
It's stupid when people put a Euro plate under their US plate. Why would you want an extra plate on the car....if you have to have euro plate, just leave the US plate off and stop worrying about getting pulled over. Otherwise, just don't do it.

Werd. And what's even worst is when people run both Euro and regular plates

I was never a fan of Europlates on regular cars. On a show car, they're fine

The look great! Do it, its a german car, it was made to have a german plate. I like it when people over lap the plates on the back. Its the only legal way to have a nice looking and proper dimention plate in this country full of junk.

I have one up fron then my maryland plate in back. I think it looks alot better then us plates. Then no plates up front look dumb becuase i have nostrils. Then i also have a 04 n that means i have chrome strips so i can't just replace with a euro rub strip.

  9. 11-17-2005 11:08 PM #9

  11. 11-17-2005 11:27 PM #11

  19. 11-18-2005 12:07 AM #19
Mine also has number n letters not statents. Although they have some good ones.

  20. 11-18-2005 12:09 AM #20
i have one. i thought of it as a cheap stylish way of getting rid of those two holes on the front rub strip.

  21. 11-18-2005 12:09 AM #21
ifi had euro bumpers and the euro place holders in the bumper i wouldnt think its that dumb, but because u need to run a state plate, and then on top of that the euro plate its kinda too much and alsmot pointless, i wish we could use euros though they look alot better

If you're going to put euro plates on a show car... at least have euro bumpers so it doesn't look like crap.

  24. 11-18-2005 01:51 AM #24

mmmk well the only use for a euro license plate that i have is to put my last name on it or my house adress and stick it outside my house. but i do think it would be sweet to put mk4gasm on one like in euro tuner!!!

first of all, genius, most of the MkIVs around here were made in Mexico.... mexi-plate? i don't think so.

second of all, personal attacks are a violation of the forum rules.

third of all, "your" is an adjective.... i *think* you meant to use the conjunction "you're" which would translate out to be "you are dumb"

    that is all. k?thxbye!

I have one, but dont sport it. Does that make me a poser?

  30. 11-18-2005 08:11 AM #30
Well I've come to the conclusion that yes they look good if your not sporting two plates up front. I live in Michigan and I don't have to put a MI plate up front, so I think I'de be okay. And of coarse I wouldn't put one on until I got my rims and coilovers and a few other mods. That way it actually looks like it goes. THanks for all the input.

euro plates are just like putting lame stickers on your car... doesn't make it go faster... OR DOES IT?!?!
