Pricing is always dependant upon suppliers, not us. With imported products, the pricing always varies from month to month. We have this stuff in stock right now (about 20 kits each) and will continue to have this price until we're out of stock. First week of January will be fine, no worries.

    Just a bump for you.

By the way, while you have the side of your engine apart it really does make sense to change the waterpump. Mine wasn't cracked but it's better to pay the $50~ more now then $300?? later on.

Exactly! As long as you have it apart and you're in there, it's not a bad idea - especially if you're around the mileage interval for a timing belt. Better to get it out of the way now, then having to kick yourself later on. With the deals we have on the water pumps, it's silly not to do one.

I can't comment on why other vendors price their products the way they do, but I seriously doubt anyone is selling a timing belt kit for $400. Go back and read where it is you saw that - I'm sure it's a typo.

Im pretty sure the ECS kit was 400 bucks with new water pump belt tensioner, maybe there was one more thing included but Im pretty sure that was all.

i believe you were looking at their "upgrade" kit...it comes with a lightened crank pulley, alternator pulley and accessory pulley i believe..the price is there fore factored in there...

i compared the regular kits and although i have bought many a things from ECS and think their service is awesome, i'm also a consumer and price tends to sway me..especially during these dreadful holiday months where my pockets have holes that only a back hoe could dig.....

i'm getting my kit from here ....in 11 days hopefully that price hasn't budged ..

MJM must be spying on my car. They always have a sale on the stuff I need just in the nick of time. First my clutch/flywheel upgrade, and now the timing belt kit.
