Ours left the dealership debadged. Make 'em wonder.

I just came back from Europe and observed Audi, BMW, and Mercedes- definitely debadge! As soon as I can, mine are off

Debadge it, looks so much cleaner. I don't think the A3,A4,A6 badges look right. Only S and RS badges are cool looking enough to stay on IMHO.

I agree with Trip, debadge FTMFW.

when i was in italy. all the benz and bmw were debadged for some reason

  14. 07-11-2007 07:00 AM #14
I've been back and forth with this one, let 'm know what just smoked them , or make them guess what just did, one I dea I have is debadge-ing and just putting an S-logo back there, one day I'll be bored and I'll take it all off

  15. 07-11-2007 07:05 AM #15
Many high-end cars re debadges in europe because their owners opted for the less-glamorous Tdi engine.

Those who buy S500s leave the badges, while most who opt for S320 CDIs debadge.

Personally, I ordered my 3.2 debadged because I wanted it to go unnoticed.

In the end it's your decision. So make it and stand by it.

angryrican, I did just the "S" logo and it doesnt really look right, it looks way to short. I had the S3 badge before and that looked good, just I got my balls busted a lot for having an A3. So learn from my mistakes and don't mess with the S badge.

i love how clean a debadged car looks. but idk i want to be proud that i have a 3.2. me id make an exception this time and keep it badged but u DEF cant go wrong either way.

Well if you are a silver "T" edition A3 then I understand the desire to debadge but red "T" A3's are special edition models so many of us opt to flaunt it.

That's not the impression I get here in Germany. Just about everybody orders the car debadged from the factory. If you get one of the better models, you still notice in a decent way (got the V12 on the S600, still got a Quattro-sign in the grille etc.).

Have you seen the A badge with the angled red sport symbol to the left? kb = //A32T

I got one from a guy who had them on eBay, but I couldn't find a current listing. Your car deserves that at least. I like mine debadged, but might do something like //A32 That says it all for those in the know.

The only problem is that the chrome color does not quite match. Maybe the A would have to be on one side and the numbers on the other.
