So I'm rolling across Alligator Alley this morning, and I come upon this thing with Michigan plates. I would assume it was doing hot weather highway testing. Pics aren't great, but it was the best I could do by myself at 75MPH.
The grill put me in mind of a Chevy, but the interior didn't, from what I could see. There was a big red emergency stop button on the dash, that I presume was a fuel shutoff or something like it.
It's interesting to note that about 30 minutes later, I passed a caravan of Chrysler products with Michigan plates, including a Cherokee and a Pacifica that had dual exhaust (I don't recall ever seeing that on one before, but I don't really pay attention to them anyway.) I'm not sure that they had anything to do with the camoed van, but they were definatly doing the same thing. Cruising along just over the speed limit with the A/C going, and all had Michigan plates.
I like that joke so much, I want to take it into the Health and Fitness forum and get it pregnant.

I've often said that most corporations should employ an eight year old child of average intelligence. Anything that the kid thinks is dumb, evil, or incomprehensible gets tossed out.
Yep that's the new Caravan. I spotted one on 275 about 5 months ago. DCX seems to like that camo config. also. Most of the camo'd DCX products I've seen have that same look to them.
'02 330i Did the Germans invent power steering, or did they just get it right?

Seriously, all of em do. I saw a *gasp* camoed Jeep Cherokee earlier this year in the same black canvas/black fleck on white vehicle camo.
GM just cruises em around with nothing, and Ford has the tendency to use leopard print...
I think Phil is a pretty cool guy. eh pwns n00bs and doesn't afraid of anything.
It was the "your radar detector is incorrectly placed" Police. Raise it up, it does you little good on the dash.
as long as it has a clear view out back and in front, what does it matter if its on the dash? Not like there are police below him or miniature ones in between the radar detector and his dash.

I'm a trained RADAR technician. It works just fine for RADAR where it's at, and the only shot you have at picking up LASER is with it as close to the bumper/headlights as possible. If you've got some personal knowledge as to why that location is no good for RADAR detection, I'd love to hear it, but I'm guessing you're just re-hashing some garbage you've heard somewhere.
You saw the new Caravan, I've seen the new Town & Country sporting the same camo running around here for some time. And the dual tail pipe Pacifica too. The Pacifica has been lowered, is on 19's and appears to have a sport suspension. An SRT Pacifica of some sorts.
My ride to work goes past DCX HQ, VWoA HQ, several GM plants, a Ford plant, a Chrysler plant. And I work across the street from the GM tech center. I see as many manf. plates as I do vanity plates.
Now if someone can please explain all the Citroen's I've been spoting lately...
